Recruitment and Classification Division (R&C)
The division currently has 11 employees including the Recruitment and Classification Manager, four Human Resources Analysts, four Human Resources Technicians, and two Senior Office Assistants. The division’s main responsibilities include: conducting recruitments and examinations for County positions, oversight of the Civil Service Rules and general employment policy and practices, classification and compensation, reorganization review, position control, layoff administration, temporary service staffing, and performance management.
For Employees
R&C is also here to answer your questions about your career movement, promoting and transferring to different positions, understanding the layoff process, etc. We are here to help you understand the Civil Service Rules and how they are applied. Additionally, R&C Analysts help you to maximize your growth potential by offering semi-annual County Career Planning courses that will give you insight into the recruitment, examination, and hiring process and will help you be more competitive. Learn how to produce a better job application and how to provide the kind of responses to supplemental questions that will make your qualifications stand out.
