The Extra Help Kaiser Permanente medical plan is available to newly hired Extra Help employees upon meeting the eligibility criteria for the benefit. Newly hired Extra Help employees are notified by mail by the Human Resources Benefits Unit upon approaching their initial eligibility. The eligibility requirements in addition to the premium costs are described below in the Extra Help New Hire Information Sheet.
Annual enrollment for extra help employees takes place in December and is your once-a-year opportunity to enroll in Kaiser Permanente medical coverage if you meet all the eligibility requirements outlined in the following booklet. The plan year for this benefit is February through January.
To enroll or make changes to your Extra Help medical benefits during Annual Enrollment you will need to complete and submit the ‘Extra Help Employees Medical Benefits Enrollment and Change Form’ to the Human Resources Benefits Unit.
