Welcome to Sonoma County’s Contract Insurance Website.

Risk Management is pleased to provide this “one stop shop” which will reduce the workload of contract management and administration staff, and increase the County’s insurance protection.

This “insurance toolkit” aligns the County’s contract insurance requirements with industry standards and best practices, and streamlines the County’s contracting procedure. It creates significant efficiencies for contract managers and their staff by:

  • Limiting required insurance documentation.
  • Authorizing departments to issue their own insurance waivers for many contracts.
  • Simplifying communication with Risk Management for insurance help.
  • Providing useful reference and training tools (checklist, user guides, sample documents) at one, easy to use location.
