The County of Sonoma's Workers' Compensation program compensates employees for disability leave and medical treatment as a result of a work-related injury or illness. Workers’ Compensation benefit regulations are established by the State of California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation.

How to report a work related injury or illness:

Employees:

  • An employee should report a work related injury or illness immediately to their supervisor or acting supervisor.
  • For non-emergency injuries or illness, contact Kaiser Occupational Health, 707-566-5555, to schedule an appointment.
  • Kaiser Occupational Health is located at 3925 Old Redwood Highway, Suite 152 in Santa Rosa, CA.
  • For emergency care, go to the nearest hospital or call 911 for assistance.

Supervisor or acting supervisor:

Email or Fax completed Supervisors Report and Accident/ Incident Report forms to: workcomp@sonoma-county.org or (707) 526-0101.

Need help?

Recently, Disability Management consolidated email boxes, which may have impacted your auto fill in your email. To remedy this issue, please open a new email, start typing workcomp@sonoma-county.org, when auto fill comes up, select the "X" and cancel auto fill. Then go to your address book, search for workcomp@sonoma-county.org and select. This will reset your auto fill to work correctly. Thank you for your patience. 

What to expect:

  • The supervisor report of injury is referred to the claims administrator.
  • Employee and supervisor or acting supervisor may receive a call or email from the claims administrator requesting critical information.
  • Please return the call or email, as failure to respond could result in delay or denial of the claim.
